Shuttered Manufacturing Plant

Commercial Development Company (CDC) purchased this 100,000 square foot shuttered manufacturing plant on 17 acres in Atlanta, Georgia. ELT assumed legacy environmental liabilities associated with the site.

In preparation for development, CDC removed the asbestos, demolished the buildings, and remediated the soil and groundwater in accordance with state and federal requirements. To maximize the value of the site, CDC decided to clean the site to a more stringent environmental standard to allow the site to be redeveloped into a premier golf and sports entertainment facility.
