Former Industrial Site
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

In March 2018, CDC announced the purchase of a 138-acre underutilized and environmentally-impacted industrial site in northeast Philadelphia. Past site uses included WW2 airplane manufacturing, local airport, and golf course.

A CDC affiliated company purchased the site from TEVA Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., who had once selected this site as an expansion location. After environmental preparations, monitoring, and site grading, CDC has repositioned the site for reuse. Today CDC is building a 1.1 million sq/ft distribution center for a major logistics company, slated to break ground 2021.
