Detail: CDC purchased this 1,800,000 square foot former aluminum smelter on 192 acres from Kaiser Aluminum in Mead, WA. The site had several environmental issues including cyanide and asbestos.

Solution: CDC sold the surplus machinery and equipment and addressed the environmental issues including the demolition of the smelting line consisting of over 2,000 pots utilized in the aluminum manufacturing process. The property will be redeveloped into a new and productive use.
