Millennium Chemicals Portfolio

CDC purchased this 13 site multi-state package of properties from Millennium Chemicals.  The 13 sites were spread out over 7 states with 1 located in Canada.  The cities they were located in were: Oakland, CA (2 sites), Montreal, Canada, Taylorville, IL, Hammond, IN, Amesbury, MA, Andover, MA, Leominster, MA, Jersey City, NJ, Gallina, NM, Johnson City, NY, Reading, PA, and Slatington, PA.

The combined square footage of building structures is over 1,000,000 square feet, and total acreage exceeds 130 acres.

CDC performed remediation work on the sites that ranged from below grade heavy metals and ground water contamination to asbestos and underground tank removal.  Several of the properties have been sold and the others are currently being marketed and will be available in a “Clean Condition.”
