G. Heileman Brewing Co. – Frankenmuth, Michigan

CDC purchased this property from G. Heileman Brewery a facility that was producing over 1,000,000 barrels of beer annually.  CDC purchased this property out of bankruptcy and worked in concert with city planners, CDC demolished 75% of the obsolete buildings, removed asbestos, PCB transformers and caustics from the site and sold the remaining brewery equipment.  CDC divided the site into two parcels and sold them to a local hotel and restaurant developer.
